Key Human Services has an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager.
This is a hybrid position, supporting operations in the Wethersfield, CT office.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible partnering with leadership to formulate and implement human resources strategies that contribute to organizational success in selecting, engaging and developing employees, reducing costs, improving performance, and ultimately enhancing the experiences of the people we serve.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to - o Partnering with organizational leadership and HR Director to identify opportunities for improvement in culture, employee engagement, retention and performance o Collaborate on developing effective responses to proposed opportunities and facilitates and/or leads change efforts to implement resulting practices or programs o Participate in the employee recruitment, selection and onboarding processes by scheduling and interviewing candidates and participating in effective orientation and onboarding o Coach, counsel and develop assigned area supervisory staff to improve their effectiveness in leading others o Ensure equitable treatment of employees and appropriate balance between organizational need and employee advocacy o Partner with other areas of human resources to continuously improve HR operations and ensure that HR is a facilitator of organizational success REQUIREMENTS o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or business-related field required; an equivalent combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge may be considered; a Master's degree preferred o Minimum of three years' experience as an HR Generalist or Organizational Development practitioner o Prior experience establishing strong partnerships with organizational leaders and at least 1 year experience supervising others is required o SPHR strongly preferred o Thorough knowledge of HR disciplines, with a focus in organizational development, succession planning, career development, selection processes, employee relations, employee engagement and change management is required along with thorough knowledge of state and federal employment laws o Must understand or be able to quickly learn the assigned area's business model and its implications for HR strategy and tactics o Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn and apply KHS's Human Resources Information System and other web based systems o Must have valid driver's license Recommended Skills Confidentiality Human Resource Management Human Resources Information System (Hris) Training Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
