We are dedicated to providing the best care possible to those we serve:
children below the age of three with developmental delays.
We are currently looking for an Insurance Processor to verify the insurance of our clients and ensure that we get paid appropriately.
We are looking for an individual that wants to become part of a great team and assist us in our goals of helping the children and families of CT in their natural environments.
The efforts we make have a vast impact on the growth and development of these children.
Insurance Processors of all experience levels are welcome to apply, but you must have some background in insurance or a related field.
Job type:
Part time.
Responsibilities:
Verify insurance forms.
Correct forms that are incomplete or have errors.
Enter information in various programs.
Problem-solve claims that have issues.
Communicate with our billing company, staff, and a variety of insurance companies.
Track payments and tickets.
Follow up on erroneous forms/claims/payments.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of and skill in Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail, thoroughness.
Organization.
Focus/determination.
Critical thinking.
Problem identification and solving.
Great communication skills.
Coordination/keeping track of tasks.
Utilization of various portals/websites.
Minimum education:
high school diploma.
Prior experience in insurance processing is preferred.
